Ritesh Kumar is a ready to wear independent label handmade in India, which proposes versatile modular clothing for a day to evening wardrobe. Softly tailored shapes and contemporary use of indigenous textiles and techniques form the DNA of the brand, musing on a global woman who values artisanal eclecticism. Each garment conveys emotions of freedom, equilibrium of opposites, attention to detail and layered thoughts.

Ritesh Kumar is a NIFT Delhi Alumni. He sharpened his design skills and trained in Italy before starting his label in 2009. Career highlights include: shortlisted for the India Vogue Fashion Fund (2013), winner of the Young Designer Award by Grazia India (2013), nomination for the International Woolmark Prize (India region, 2012), selected to represent India at the Japan Fashion Week (Tokyo, 2010), finalist at World of Wearable Art (New Zealand, 2010 and 2011), chosen as the hottest label of the year by Elle India (2010).

In 2014, Ritesh Kumar diversified into luxury cashmere brand Caro, with a commitment to support local craftsmanship and sustainable handmade products.
